Meet The Liminal Farmstead San Clemente Island Goat herd.

In early 2024, I made a decision to focus primarily on preserving and growing the Tepper Line San Clemente Island goats. Along with the Tepper Line preservation project, I’m also working on trying to understand uncommon color variations found in this breed. Including white/cream and black and “self-black”. Understanding these color genetics and making genetic material more widely available may help us better understand the SCI goat breed.

If you are interested in raising San Clemente Island goats, feel free to get a hold of me at info@theliminalfarmstead.com I will be happy to talk to you about Tepper Line preservation. Please take time to look at my anti-racist and community statement page before contacting me, as I would like to move forward with breeders who have similar and important values.
